Poplar Point Camp has six cottages all just a few steps away from Long Point Lake with a nice shallow, sandy beach area, a play area with swings for the children and a campground with water and hydro hookup, outhouses and central showers. The cottages are fully equipped house-keeping cottages. Elk Lake and Gowganda both have small grocery stores and LCBO and are both withing 15 miles of camp. Your hosts: Al and Darlene Tulpin. When you get to Elk Lake, follow the main road through town across the two bridges, just past the LCBO; turn left onto Highway #560. As you drive the 22km you may see moose, bear, lynx or even a fox, when you come to the Beauty Lake Road (on your left), go another half a kilometer and you will see on your right our Poplar Point Camp sign and driveway.
