A day in the life of. Monday, July 18, 2011. I've never been a runner in my life, but I've always thought it would be something I would like to do, so after 8 weeks of running and completing the Couch to 5K. Running plan for the second time (I did it after the boys were born), I was ready to try my 2nd 5K with my parents and Rob. My dad was great, he's been running regularly for awhile now, and he came in 12th in his age group of 109 runners! He even beat Rob. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I can't believe that she has been gone for almost 10 years! I REALLY can't believe that 100 years ago she was born. So, happy 100th birthday Nana. I love you and miss you a TON! Posted by Megan C. http://rjeta.blogspot.com/2011/07/great-winter-storm-of-2011.html
A day in the life of. Monday, July 18, 2011. The Great Winter Storm of 2011. With the humidity, it was bitterly cold, I would say even colder than I remember it being in Calgary. In fact, it was the longest, coldest winter in over 100 years for us, ironic, since we are now having the 2nd hottest, driest weather in 113 years this summer. This was the ice on our driveway. Wednesday, November 21, 2012. My friend said to me recently "You were meant to be Tanner's mother. You are just so positive". My sister asked me the day after Tanner was born what it felt like to be a mother. How can a person describe that? How do you describe the tender feelings you feel as a mother? It's really like nothing I've ever experienced. The love a mother feels for her child is like trying to describe what salt tastes like to someone who has never experienced it. There is never a lack of activ...

Sitting at the Window Seat: November 2008
http://sittingatthewindowseat.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sitting at the Window Seat. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. I've been meaning to post this for awhile, but just got way to busy! A couple of weeks ago we got our first real snowfall, and there was a lot of it. My sweet little boys thought it was the greatest thing to ever happen to them. There were snowball fights, and my 6 year old decided to teach my 3 year old how to build a snowman. It was so successful that they built five! Here are a few photos of their lovely afternoon in the snow. A little while back...

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Here's the thing.I've lost some weight. I'm not posting numbers because it is not about how much. I started with the goal of being healthier and not about how much and I feel really good, but all my clothes are too big so I'm wearing belts (I only have 2) a lot! I am heading down to Utah next month and I am hoping to get a pair down there. So check back next month to see if I got a pair.maybe I'll even post a picture of me wearing them. We've been in our house a year!

Sitting at the Window Seat. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. I need some Spring! Living in Calgary, AB we don't usually have four seasons. It's winter and summer. But by May 20th I'm really tired of snow (which we had some of today! On that note I've been on my favorite "idea". Website and I've decided to just live vicariously through those who actually get to put these gardening and planting ideas to use. Although maybe once the weather turns I will too! Sitting at the Window Seat: March 2009
http://sittingatthewindowseat.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sitting at the Window Seat. Sunday, March 8, 2009. My 22 year-old brother just moved to Vancouver, and left behind a few of his Calvin and Hobbes comic strip books. I had forgotten how much I loved these insightful and funny strips. Also, my husband and I have had a great time reading through them and laughing about how much Calvin reminds us of our sons.
