Montessori for Mandarin Chinese. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Peter Rabbit in Mandarin Chinese and English in iTunes. As much as I hate to provide free product promotion for iTunes, I have to say that I love the bilingual Peter Rabbit in Mandarin Chinese and English. It has audio, pinyin (in the mouseover with characters), and simplified or traditional characters that you can choose. I bought this as a gift for an adult, so it's pretty funny to hear him saying "flopsy, mopsy." in Chinese!

Montessori for Infants and Toddlers. Friday, December 9, 2011. Play with your child: A great video clip. The father is looking at his child, smiling encouragingly, making eye contact, and making up rhymes about what he and his son are singing (plus he uses his son's name in the rhymes). A super example of a non-traditional father and toddler interaction that works out wonderfully. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Looking for Montessori Teaching Material? Montessori Methodology, Math, Language, Sensorial, Practical Life, Book Reviews, Homeschool. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Reading: A Few Fast Tips for PreK and Up.
