I had been on a lot of camping trips in my life, but never anything as challenging as trekking off into the wilderness with only what I could carry on my back. Then returning via the Hope Creek Trail. Our neighbors have a vacation home in South Fork, and they were gracious enough to invite me to use it as a base.

Monday, August 23, 2010. Ohio: the summertime version. Ohio is usually one of our winter vacation destinations, but we made a special trip this summer for Nana and Papa to see Elijah. And now the boys may actually have memories of Ohio that don't involve snow, memories of some Ohio summertime fun. Playing at the school playground next door. Playing backyard baseball with Papa. Getting haircuts worse than what Mommy gives. Swinging away in the backyard swing. I think summertime Ohio was a hit.

Thursday, April 7, 2011. The ride that helped make it happen. We've been in denial for over a month now that little Elijah needed a haircut. His brothers didn't need one this young, and we were hoping we could hold out a little longer- it's hard for us to let go of that baby hair look! But when his hair got so long that it wouldn't stay out of his eyes, and then he got called a girl twice in one week by strangers, we finally figured we couldn't deny it anymore. So off we went to The Hairy Elephant.

Thursday, 5 May 2011. Thought of bringing fresh fruit juice to work for a change. So, i woke up 1/2 hour earlier to cut the oranges, blend it and put it into my container. When i happily take it out at around lunch time, thinking that i can enjoyed my fresh juice instead of those added sugar juice. i was at a big disappointment . My juice was just so bitter that i can barely swallow it. . waste of my time of getting up so early. I should have use the 1/2 hour to take a longer nap. Tuesday, 26 April 2011.
