The Poppy Family and Seeds of Faith, Love and Fun! June 29, 2011. So, I’ve nearly hit the two-month mark for not posting a single word on the blog. Yay! I’m going to do bullet points because we spent the better part of this evening at the pool and the crisp 100 degree weather may have fried a brain cell or two. Or maybe it’s the fact that I keep catching the tailend of the Bachelorette this season, which is a more reasonable thing to blame on my brain cells decreasing. As our 7 year old Bryan would say).

His actual birthday fell on a Wednesday this year, so we celebrated with our playgroup at Chick Fil A! Maddie started gymnastics this year and loves it! Saturday, April 30, 2011. I have been wanting to go to Canton for some time now. I was supposed to go with my small group gals in February, but of course the weekend we were supposed to go it snowed! So I was so excited to be able to go yesterday! I went with my mom, sister, and my best friend Sara was able to go too! Sara and I were sooo excited to spend a day together with no children! Thursday, March 24, 2011. I grew up eating roast almost every Sunday. I normally make roast the same way every time. Well I came across this roast recipe and it sounded so good and different I decided to give it a try. Well it did not disappoint! You must make it! It was sooooo juicy and delicious and did not get dry at all! Get a tender chuck pot roast and place it in a crock pot on low. Add one packet of Hidden Valley Ranch mix. Sprinkle it over the roast. Add one packet of McCormick Aux jus gravy mix.

Saturday, June 25, 2011. I better get this 9 month post done before Cruz is 10 months! He moved up to a big car seat this month. He is at the weight and length limit of his infant carrier. So Maddie got a new car seat and he got her old one. Cruz is getting better at feeding himself and is starting to only eat certain things if he can do it himself! He is finally going to bed later than 6:30! He usually now is in bed around 7. He also had his 1st haircut, actually he has had 2! Happy 9 Months Cruz! Lovin...
