Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Today my baby started Kindergarten. My constant shadow for 3 years. Like has to know where I am at ALL times child! She has come a LONG way! When we decided to adopt again for the 3rd time, our 5th child, our decision was not always met with positive feedback. It was suggested we were too old to have a child that age. We were also told 5 kids is a LOT of kids. Her "special needs" were a bit intimidating sounding to some. And 5 kids IS. On the older side. How I love this child!

Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Our Time at the Orphanage. This was my 5th trip to China in 8 years. 3 times to adopt and 2 for mission trips. This was my 3rd time to this orphanage. A part of my heart is in this vast and very different land. It holds the start of life for my 3 youngest children. For this, I will always be incredibly thankful and feel a sense of servitude towards it’s people. There are things I love about it and I am grateful for the opportunity to experience this culture. I live a charmed life.

Our "Happy Place" did not disappoint as usual! A good time was had by all! Saturday, January 31, 2015. Jan 30th, 2015 marked 3 years with our littlest family member! Forever Family Day #3 with Miss Louisa Margaret. We had a celebration breakfast together as a family. Cause that was the only time of day we would all be together). This looks quite different than 3 years ago. A scared, angry, spunky and TINY little bundle was placed in our arms. All she ever knew was changed in an instant. A strange looking group of people suddenly surrounding her. She went into survival mode.
