Life Like the Pear. I'm a nobody and nobody's perfect, therefore i'm perfect! Friday, June 29, 2007. Beer drinking, sling-shot slinging and hot springing. We had three days off following our first fire streak and Jodie, Doyle, Dean and I headed up to Liard hotsprings for a little bit of fun and relaxation (though, truth be told, I was far more tired when we got home than when we left! He roped and tied me. Shot his slingshot at me. And sat on me. But we made it, and at the top, we were all smiles :).

Life Like the Pear. I'm a nobody and nobody's perfect, therefore i'm perfect! Wednesday, December 31, 2008. I love the toes, but my fingers keep catching my eye and are harder to get used to. Before the spa, I even got a new sweater and earrings and a haircut so I was feeling girlier than ever by the end of the evening. To all the skiers in the northwest: i owe you an appology. it's my fault that the hill had to open late. that the early season powder just wasn't the same as the past few years. that rain has melted a lot of what little there was. it's all my fault and i'm sorry. Oh, and ullr, if you're reading this, please forgive me and send snow! If not for me, then for all of the innocent skiers in terrace!

Occassional Musing as we Navigate Through Life. Friday, August 3, 2007. Otters abound in Winter Harbour. These playful creatures are on the dock and around the boats all the time. A family of 70 otters live in Winter Harbour. Lying on their backs using their bellies as plates, they eat fish and clams. They offer out morsels with their outstretched paws to the gulls and occassionally decide to snatch it away – leaving us chuckling at their human like antics. S and L Bartlett. Life Like the Pear. I'm a nobody and nobody's perfect, therefore i'm perfect! Monday, January 26, 2009. Who's the bad luck? For the past 2 weeks, I've sworn it was Jodie. The day she decided to come to Terrace, the snow turned to rain and then to cold clear days so that the skiing was terrible for her whole visit. Then the day she left, 20cm fell with more in the forecast all week. But, today, on the first day of snow in weeks, I sprained my ankle and likely won't be enjoying this dump. Ma and Pa Bartlett.
