A Gardener's Thread: Color Monday: Vegetable Splash Color Palette
http://gardenersthread.blogspot.com/2015/06/color-monday-vegetable-splash-color.html
Journeys through gardening, self-sufficiency, sewing and simple living. Monday, June 1, 2015. Color Monday: Vegetable Splash Color Palette. Jennie asked what we like to sip on in summer-time for this Color Monday. I'm also in sort of a carrot-loving mood, as its close relatives Queen-Anne's Lace and Mammoth Dill are making a stellar showing in the front garden and attracting a lot of beneficial insects for us. I posted about the foraging expedition that landed me such a wonderful garden guest here:.

http://www.goodgollyginger.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 22, 2014. I am so happy to be joining in the Mini Charm Mix blog hop at the Fat Quarter Shop. The Mini Charm Mix is such a sweet and simple pattern with beautiful impact. I chose to make a table runner which required three mini charm packs and one solid charm pack for the background. I used Basic Grey 25th and Pine Mini Charm Pack by Moda Fabrics. And Porcelain Bella Solids Charm Pack. For the backing, I used 25th and Pine Midnight Grunge. Mini Charm Mix Links:. Labels: Fat Quarter Shop.

My Quilts First 100. Thursday, January 8, 2015. Modernizing the Farmer's Wife Quilt: Introduction. I have always loved the Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilts that I have seen, however I enjoy making simple quilts. The Farmer's Wife quilt is anything but simple with all those tiny pieces in a six inch block! I mentioned to my friend Jennie. That I have thought about simplifying and modernizing the Farmer's Wife quilt. She thought it was a great idea, and I started planning how I would do that. Using Individual ...

A Gardener's Thread: Family Portrait Palette
http://gardenersthread.blogspot.com/2015/07/family-portrait-palette.html
Journeys through gardening, self-sufficiency, sewing and simple living. Friday, July 17, 2015. Family portraits, alas, have not happened for us. And I mean formally ever. We did not even have a photographer at our wedding. There has always been something that came up, and although every Christmas DH and I commit to getting a family portrait done "soon", it just has not happened. But like so many other times, I may be coming round to a change of heart thanks to Jennie. So I'll start off with this:. So it ...

http://grateful4quilting.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 23, 2015. I have been gone way too long but not from sewing, just from the computer. I have also been in Ohio for about 10 days helping out with my Mom. I did some sewing up there too. My posts will have to be several in a row since I have too much for one post. I will start with my favorite thing of all. I have also been waiting for my daughter to get her new phone which takes really nice pictures so I hope they are easier to see. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I just love to sew! I am marrie...

grateful 4 quilting: Summer!!
http://grateful4quilting.blogspot.com/2015/06/summer.html
Thursday, June 25, 2015. I feel like I have been away for forever! I have done lots of sewing and given several things away and have no pictures. A few things I did remember and the last couple weeks have gotten some things done. But first, the bumper pads to match the new babys quilt are finally finished. All the animals were appliqued on and the grass and flowers were stitched on. It was a lot of work but turned out so very nice. It came from Kelly at My quilt infatuation. I will quilt it up right away.
