It's always a good day for a ride. Race Results and Schedule. 2012 is looking good so far! 2012 is off to a good start for me so far. I have already competed in 5 races! I started out with Frozen Hog January 28…where I finished 23 out of 35. Which I was perfectly happy with. I didn’t get lapped and the course was…well…frozen! That was the most fun I have ever had in a crit! I played it smart…till the very end…and I was in the final move. Tags: Church of the Big Ring. Church of the Big Ring. You are comme...

Travis, Ryan, Todd C., Kerry, Kerry's friend, John, and Rogers showed up for a fun ride with good weather and plenty of laughs.until Ryan put the hammer down! Watch the first couple of minutes of this video to see how it felt. I will give you a hint.I wasn't Lance. October 3, 2009 at 5:22 PM. Did Ryan give you the look before he took off? BCC Racing: May 2009
http://bccracing.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 4, 2009. Guys I don't think I've been so cold on any of my winter rides! It was just a cold wet day. The race was a cool route and they had more support cars than any other race I can think of but it was just cold and wet. And cold. We were all eating road salt and brine shrimp from the causeway so I don't think there was any chance of cramping up. Here's Higgins kicking some butt in the rain:. Butterfield | I Ride, I Write

I Ride, I Write. Yet another blog from some random dude training for Ironman and beyond. About I ride, I write. I have some good news. Butterfield Canyon is (mostly) clear and open to the top. With the daunting task of the Crusher in the Tushar. Looming large in front of me, I decided I needed to start training with lots of hills riding on knobby tires. As anyone who has climbed Butterfield knows, the canyon gets kind of steep. OK, it gets ugly steep at about Mile 4. There are several tree limbs and bran...

Here’s the Jordan River Parkway as maintained by West Jordan City on Monday morning. And here is the Jordan River Parkway as maintained by Murray 20 seconds later on Monday morning after I was forced to turn around on my run. Same trail, just a couple of blocks apart. I Ride, I Write. Yet another blog from some random dude training for Ironman and beyond. About I ride, I write. They call the time trial the Race of Truth. It’s just you against the clock. No team tactics, no drafting, no sitting in. Just you, your bike and the road. With that in mind, the truth is I’m not nearly as fast as I used to be or want to be. Last night I hit the Saltair Time Trial series and we got to race the long course — approximately 20k of flat road. It was filed under Uncategorized. You a...
