Poreč Tea and Coffee House. Monday, 4 April 2011. The time really flies. April here already and after the long, cold and dark winter finally the feeling that something good is about to happen! Porec is the best at this time of the year. It's warm but not hot, it's busy but not too busy, and best of all everything is nice and green. We spent the day off yesterday painting the tables for outside. And I think our little terrace is going to be there very soon so the season can finally start!

Poreč Tea and Coffee House. Tuesday, 14 December 2010. It's getting colder and colder here! And it even snowed this morning, only for about 4 minutes and then the sky was clear. But at least there's hope that some snow might come our way this Christmas. Time is flying. We have started an English course at the Tea House last week and so every Monday evening we spend talking to people in English. It was about time I say! Finally someone else can try to explain it all to him! It happens only in Croatia.

We were even able tyo get a bit of a tan early this morning before it got busy. And yes, it's amazing how one week makes a big difference. There are definitely more people passing by and more people coming in this week. Maybe they'll start copying us, but I'll let them try, they won't get far. I suppose people are worried that we might have more business than them but...

Poreč Tea and Coffee House. Thursday, 9 September 2010. Not being lazy, it's just that days are not long enough for everything that needs to be done. And I suppose not having a day off in past 4 months makes me forget about everything that I'm suppose to be doing, like writing this blog! Summer has finished looks like. It's been cold and raining for the past few days and I can smell the winter coming. All on our own. I can tell you though, they don't say for nothing that each beginning is hard!

And there's some people walking around so it does really feel like there's life in this town after all. To start the new season, we've got some new street signs, well done husband for creating those. We've had quite a few old guests in the last few weeks here. By old I'm not talking about their age. Nice To know that there are people who have recognized what we do and who appreciate it.
