Cracking The GMAT and Getting an Admit...: The last week
http://gmatyatra.blogspot.com/2011/06/last-week.html
Cracking The GMAT and Getting an Admit. My GMAT and B-School Yatra, one step at a time. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Just 7 days more for my GMAT. I am super confident in problem solving and data sufficiency. As long as I am frequently using pen and paper, there should be no problem in these two sections. I commit most mistakes in these sections because of miscalculation and misunderstanding and that happens when I try to solve all questions in my head. Written by the hands of. The MBA Applicationist: Ding at Stanford
http://theapplicationist.blogspot.com/2012/03/ding-at-stanford.html
The trials and tribulations of a born-again city slicker applying to business school. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Yesterday I got the most expected news imaginable - a Stanford rejection. Given that I never got an interview, it was the least disappointing rejection (of any kind) that I've ever gotten in my life. I'll let you know how this goes. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Posted by The Applicationist. April 13, 2012 at 2:14 PM. Congratulation for Clear-admit BOB Nomination! April 20, 2012 at 3:42 AM.

The MBA Applicationist: In at Chicago Booth!
http://theapplicationist.blogspot.com/2012/05/in-at-chicago-booth.html
The trials and tribulations of a born-again city slicker applying to business school. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. In at Chicago Booth! Guess all of the speculation about Booth being oversubscribed was wrong! Between 5-10 people from the GMAT Club Forum were accepted from the WL today, so I figure they are still trying to shape a substantial portion of their class. Posted by The Applicationist. May 16, 2012 at 10:19 AM. Hopefully Booth takes me off the WL, and then we can be classmates! You left the above quot...

The Turk in Russia: Analyzing MGMAT Free Test Results
http://theturkinrussia.blogspot.com/2011/09/analyzing-mgmat-free-test-results.html
The Turk in Russia. Who is planing to do an MBA. Friday, September 9, 2011. Analyzing MGMAT Free Test Results. About 10 days ago, on 30.08.2011, I took MGMAT's free online test. While the overall score of 730 97% (Q50 95%, V40 91%) showed a little progress from the previous two 710s (Q50,V36 and Q49,V36) that I got from the GMAT Preps, the detailed breakdown of the quant and verbal sections helped me to understand more about how I did, and where my weaknesses are. I had 11 mistakes. I need to be more car...

The Turk in Russia: Love and hate relationship with the practice tests

The Turk in Russia. Who is planing to do an MBA. Monday, September 5, 2011. Love and hate relationship with the practice tests. If there is one thing that I understood during my brief studies till date, it is the fact that how worse you feel yourself during the test, the better you score. I mean your anticipation about your score is generally wrong. In the end of the exam if you feel that you were horrible and expect a 650 coming, in most cases it turns out to be above 700. Ps: For some time I'm planing ...
