I'm writing on Monday afternoon. I feel great! This week dedicated to studying and practicing music has filled me with confidence and strength. I'm grateful to Helen, Tim and everyone involved in making The Portageville Chapel what it is. This part of New York is so amazing and inspiring. It seems I may be the first guest of the summer. I played the National Anthem on the house piano to celebrate. Here is some advice for making the most out of your experience here. 149; Make time for silence and listen.

Guests will stay in a three-bedroom cottage located a short walk from the chapel. The cottage includes linens, dishes and everything you need to cook your own meals. It even has a fine piano so that two guests can practice at the same time. The Chapel is available from the first of May until the end of September, a week at a time. Rental fees are $900 a week. If you are a professional organist who is interested in spending a week at The Portageville Chapel, you can reserve a week for the 2016 season today. Please let. Us know what week works best for you and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. The Chapel will be available from the first of May until the end of September, a week at a time. Rental fees are $900 a week for exclusive use of the chapel and housing in a near-by cottage. The rental period is Wednesday noon to Tuesday noon.
