Thursday, 23 April 2015. Breweries and Bridges on the Forth: 18th April 2015. As well as beer, I have a bit of a fascination with bridges, and with the new Queensferry Crossing. Spanning the Forth well under way I thought it would be a good idea to walk across the 'old' Forth Road Bridge to see how construction was developing on the new crossing. Since I was therefore 'in the area' I then contacted Dave Robertson, who has been attempting to get the Forth Bridge Brewery. Outward travel was as follows:-.

Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team, near Edinburgh. Our 2015 season has started. May 1, 2015. On a balmy evening in early April we ventured our for our first 2015 paddle. This was a very special first paddle as we dotted the eyes of our of wee boat and named her “Emma” after our last chairwoman – a founding member of Port Edgar Dragons and driving force for getting this boat. A fabulous calm evening and we virtually had Port Edgar to ourselves! We had a lot of fun……………. We even came back with a trophy!
