This Centre was designed to provide a space for the preservation and growth of traditional and modern Ladakhi arts and theatre. The building uses natural light [plentiful in high altitude Leh] as a transformative device and a means of supporting and emphasizing program and circulation. The design addresses the local building techniques with a modern twist.
