Substantial damage was caused to the community's infrastructure at Wonnerup, east of the development by the ocean breaching the sea wall built in previous years by the Busselton Shire. Our once pristine beaches are still plagued with thousands of tons of rotting seagrass wrack. The DoT amended the document that defines the outcomes of the Groyne Reconfiguration the Environment Management. And Monitoring Program to allow up to 60,000m3 of seagrass wrack to remain trapped on the beaches all year round. How could they have gotten it so wrong.
