Sunday, September 02, 2012. I can't do what they do. But can I? I've never done a back flip before. Why? No one has ever told me I couldn't. So why haven't I tried? This book has been sitting on my shelf for some time now. A book I'm afraid will make me want to try a back flip. I'll take the book down. Thumb through the pages. And place it back on the shelf. This has been the scenario for the past couple years. "Not yet" I think to myself. I'm not ready. But now the repetition is wearing. Um, what book?

Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Tanner Springs Park is in the March 2006 issue of Metropolis Magazine. Portland’s Tanner Springs Park in the Pearl District is featured in the Metropolis Observed column in the March issue of Metropolis Magazine. Since attending an introductory presentation at the First Congregational Church a few years ago, I have watched the project with interest as it seeks to reveal a long lost wetland landscape in the middle of a new urban neighborhood.
