Port Ludlow Hiking Club. Photos of things you see along the trails in Western Washington. Trails from Day Hiking Olympic Peninsula. Guidebook by Craig Romano. This is hike 42 in the guidebook. Lena Lake Trail is an easy 6 mile roundtrip with 1300 feet of elevation change. Lena Lake is a small backcountry lake surround by fir and cedar trees. The trail is easy to follow and well maintained. As you near the lake you will find good view points to rest and enjoy the lake view. This is hike 47 in the guidebook.

Port Ludlow Hiking Club. All the hikers but one. The fall colors were really great. Many of the leaves were already on the ground. Heather Family - Pinesap. The trail was a little rough in places. This bridge was a little on the small side. I like the water droplets on this mushroom. Keith always looks happy. The Lower Gray Wolf River. The water is really clear. Another mushroom I like the colors. Part of the trail was right along the river. I like the water droplets and the colors. The yellow leaf road.

Port Ludlow Hiking Club. All the hikers but one. One of several Fort Casey historic buildings. Looks like the tide was out. Admiralty Head Lighthouse built in 1903. 10-inch coastal artillery piece moved from the Philippines to Fort Casey in the 1960s. Admiralty Head Lighthouse and grounds. The business end of a 10-inch coastal artillery piece. 10-inch cannon mounted on a disappearing carriage that enabled the gun to hide from direct fire. Smaller artillery pieces were mounted here.
