Hello from your Island Retreat,. ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GREENING OF COUPEVILLE PARADE. As usual this parade began at sunset and lasted for 1/2 hour. Although the weather was a bit cold and the wind stiff at times, it didn’t rain! With the inn laced in lighting and garland and the park aglow, this is probably the most attractive corner in town. Dave and Dianne offer great luscious breakfasts that had me skip lunch, and a cozy and relaxed atmosphere I would have liked to take home with me (along with the beautiful oak staircase that spirals in the entry and the antique sewing machine in my room). It’s a new year! Although it’s the height of winter, all in all it’s been rather mellow here in Coupeville. Not much rain has fallen on this island and not a flake of snow is yet to be seen.
