My family are my life, photography comes a close second. I am a photographer based in the heart of Derbyshire. My photography started as a teenager with a Pentax ME Super as a fantastic Christmas present (after one or two hints). In reality though it had begun much earlier as I sat enthralled at Pop's slideshows, even when the slides were upsidedown, the projector jammed or the bulb blew. I've still got the ME Super and I'm lucky enough to still have his Kodak Retina.

Alfie was my business name prior to Nickelshots and has stuck with me in the world of model shoots. It was the name of our cat, who would curl up on my lap when I got back from a shoot and sat at the computer to process the images. I have a wealth of experience working with models to produce and enhance portfolios. I aim to provide high class images both in the studio and on location. I believe that safety is paramount to a working relationship and would always welcome chaperones on a shoot.
