Animator - Mark Maund: "Homer" D. Poe - "More Saving, More Doing..."
http://markmaund.blogspot.com/2014/08/homer-depot-more-saving-more-doing.html
Sunday, August 3, 2014. Homer" D. Poe - "More Saving, More Doing.". This is a 2D Project I am working on starring "Homer" D. Poe, the mascot of Home Depot. This is a personal study of "phonemes". This is the initial "rough" animation before cleanup. The next step would be to clean up the line drawings, re-check the animation, then if all looks descent, do clean line drawings, add color and background scenery. And here are the rough model sheets I made for this project. This sheet shows Consonant Phonemes.

http://markmaund.blogspot.com/2008/01/pre-vis-test-of-back-flip.html
Monday, October 5, 2009. Pre-Vis Test of Back Flip. This is a short animation I made while studying the movements within a back flip. I have started the pre-visualization process on a current project I am creating for TV. This movement is part of a scene in the episode. I used this free character rig which I downloaded from the net to test the action. Http:/ www.highend3d.com/maya/downloads/character rigs/. Labels: Animator Mark Maund. Friday, July 25, 2014. I came across this box of Sports Illustrated's sitting on the ground by a neighborhood dumpster. I brought it back to my place and leafed through them (with plastic gloves on) and found some gems but mostly damaged ones. I found some that had some really good action shots on them.an Animator's Dream Find! Here is one of my favorites! Thank goodness Evander Holyfield's ear wasn't included as an insert! Monday, October 5, 2009. Female Game Character modelled in 3DSMax9. I built her completely from extruded quad polygons which were eventually triangulated. I started modeling her with 1 polygon at the tip of her left foot and built the remaining geometry from there. I made a face texture with a likeness of Kristanna Loken who played the Terminatrix in Terminator 3. Check out the video under October 23, 2009 to see how I used this clip in it! Tuesday, October 6, 2009. 3D Model of Myself. This is a 3D model of myself that I built in about 2 days. It is a WIP (WorkInProgress). Next, I will build the rigging, texture the character (utilizing photoshop and my Digital Tablet), and then do some pre-vis shots to establish the actions for use in a demo reel. Here is a close-up of the head with its hair and goatee planes which will have hair textures. Labels: Animator Mark Maund. Monday, October 5, 2009. Pre-Vis Test of Back Flip. He is an evolution o...
