Tuesday, 8 January 2013. Happy New Year.Andy's Story. I would like to celebrate the new year with a positive story about a running client. This is 'Andy's Journey'. A few days ago I was sent a video by a gentleman called Andy who learnt the Pose technique back in in January 2012 almost a full year ago. It didn't take me long to see that he had a burning desire to run better. He had already dabbled in ' 'running forefoot' and hoped to improve this style further. Eoin came to me with some background reading on Pose Method of Running but wanted definitive interpretation of the Pose Technique. I was happy to help. As well as managing to improve his flat road running he also made fantastic progress in his downhill performance as seen in the following videos. Cycling was reasonable, and strength/core work was pretty good, but running wasn't as good as I was hoping. If I wanted to, I'm sure I could find excuses. I managed to find two of the shortest bungees ever to hold them in place too. I used a phone app to monitor how much sleep I got - 5 hours, no much, but ok.
