CMP Juniors

Our junior program focuses on teaching and practicing the basic principles of rifle marksmanship. The rules of firearms safety are stressed and continually reinforced. As the juniors skills improve we try to provide equipment, coaching and the opportunity to compete to the best of their abilities. We practice Tuesday nights in the summer, May through September at our range facility south of Lakeville. We also have active Air Pistol and Smallbore rifle programs. Junior dues are $50 per year.

Post 435 Pistol and Smallbore Range. Post 435 Pistol and Smallbore range consists of a sheltered firing point with target holders at 21', 50', and 75'. The Pistol range is limited to Smallbore Rifles, Rimfire and Centerfire Pistols. The only exception being Centerfire Rifles are allowed to shoot off the bench at 75' for sight in purposes only. No Action type Shooting or drawing from a holster is allowed! Please Read and Follow. Your copy of the Post 435 Gun Club Range Rules.

Harland Hayward Call House Dedication Day! On October 13th, 2012, Post 435 Gun Club dedicated the shotgun call house in the name of long time member Harland Hayward in recognition of his years of dedicated work for the betterment of the club. Former Gun Club President Bob Aman hosted the presentation which was attended by Harland, his family and Gun Club members past and present.
