Which would be a welcome relief from the heat and humidity if we weren’t stranded on the side of a mountain on a muddy single lane track in a 22-tonne truck at the site of an all too recent landslide…. 5 hours earlier…. However when we arrived shortly after lunch the queue towards Kathmandu wasn’t moving.
