Monday, September 10, 2012. Almost Grand in Mexico (Part 3). When not eating or drinking, we spent our time on the beach with my preference being a front row corner palapa. No need for the "towel game" here. We got a good spot any time we wanted. There usually were not that many people in the water in front of the Grand, but there were rocks which made us choose our entry point carefully. Monday, September 10, 2012. Almost Grand in Mexico (Part 2). Wellthe food. The seafood platter was over cooked. The steaks were not flavorful and dessert was just not good. It was just ok. Not terrible, but we left a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, this would end up being the best dinner we had. Thursday, March 28, 2013. Smoothie Diet Day # 3. The scale rewarded me again so I decided to keep going, except that I need a real lunch. I made the same banana pear breakfast smoothie as the day before, but the pear was not ripe so it wasn't a very smooth smoothie. The new growth contrasts beautifully with the tree. The rock slides look like an angel on the left and Jesus on the right. The branches growing from the side of this trunk were contrasts from dead to fall colors to olive green. Can you see the SMILEY face in this tree trunk? Blue skies and snow!
