Have found that due to too much alcohol and food consumption I have to be strict with no nibbling in between meals and have a AFD (alcohol free day) every second day so that I can still fit into my clothes. I have been walking every day with a couple of ladies we have met.

The surrounding scenery is awesome with the rolling hills. Went up to the club one night for drinks and a chat with the locals. Monday, March 28, 2011. Well worth the $20 we spent to get in.

Did a quick trip to Derby to see the prison tree, they take their boab's very seriously there as you can see the roads go around the tree instead of bulldozing it down. This house including the roof has been built around the boab tree! Gives you an idea of the size of it.

Thursday, January 20, 2011. A Bit of Creativeness. Over the last couple of days I have actually managed to get some scrapbooking done. I think part of my mojo returned thank goodness. I did 2 layouts. I used a sketch for both of them, and both sketches came from the new Pagemaps 2 book by Becky Fleck. I really enjoyed doing these. Here is the first one I did. Sorry I have been away for quite some time, but we have had a lot of family illness over the last 6 months and I have been studying trying to get my course finished and well, life in general and I just haven't had time to do anything. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. A Couple of Scrap Layouts. I have actually done some scrapbooking in the last week and managed to get 3 layouts done. I used 3 of Kaisercrafts February ranges which you can get from Scrapbooks from the Heart now. The black cardstock pulls out and has journalling on it. We have just come back from nearly 2 weeks of camping down at the beautiful Bremer Bay. It is right on the coast and we just love it there. We try to get there at least once a year, but last year we just didn't make it, so it was great to get there.
