Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: September 2008
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 16, 2008. For those keeping track, it has been a while since I updated this. There are a couple of reasons. The first is that I got a nasty stomach virus. While it was quite efficient at helping me take off the pounds, I would have to continue the agony in order to keep it off. There goes one week. Thursday, September 4, 2008. What a pain in the. Who picks this crap? What was running through their little minds? I had a late lunch and got taco bell instead of lean cuisine. I stuffed...

Wednesday, June 17, 2009. It Cakes Two Baby. The conversation went like this:. Hubby: You gave it to me. It's mine. You can't have it. Polipino: I bought it. Hubby: I bought your wedding ring. Polipino: We've been married almost two years. How long are you gonna use that? Hubby: Until you stop being wife and become 'the plaintiff.'. I ate the cupcake. Both of them. Half Marathon training starts tomorrow. Ahhhcupcakes at the end of the tunnel. :). June 18, 2009 at 8:41 PM. June 18, 2009 at 8:59 PM.

Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: New Projects for 2010
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-projects-for-2010.html
Monday, January 18, 2010. New Projects for 2010. Recently someone told me that they are no longer teaching cursive in school. I guess in the age of texting and computers, the pen in less necessary. Truly, I find it easier to type but still, the news made me a little sad. So I've decided to begin a project for 2010. I was inspired by my buddy Jessie and her blog. The year started out as kind of a flop as I got sick almost immediately, so I've got a little catching up to do. View my complete profile.

Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: Call it Out
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2009/06/call-it-out.html
Saturday, June 27, 2009. Sometimes I forget how much positive reinforcement can do. Today was the first long run of marathon training. Mind you, last week, Halladay and I went around Iroquois park for five miles, but it was all walking. Today, it was intervals, and I was alone. I loaded up my ipod and got ready to sweat. I mapped out a route in my neighborhood that would get me to my goal. The first two miles weren't bad and I was feeling pretty good about myself. Labels: hot weather running. Thats reall...

Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: It's too hot, too hot lady
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2009/06/its-too-hot-too-hot-lady.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2009. It's too hot, too hot lady. Anyone who has been outside in the past week knows about the steamy weather. Growing up in Arizona, it used to frustrate the crap out of me when people said 110 degrees was ok because it was a "dry" heat. I now know the difference. However, I will not let my fellow Southern summer sufferers out that easy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Getting Ahead of Myself. Its too hot, too hot lady. Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: January 2009
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Inauguration 2009, Pt. 1. Fourscore and three donuts ago, a bunch o people schlepped themselves to our nation's capital to grab on to a little piece of American history. In case you live in a hole, we now have a black president. Other things to note, Chief Justice Roberts is not so good when put on the spot without note cards, and Rev. Rick Warren says Malia and Sasha like they are candy treats. I didn't actually vote for Obama. Monday, January 12, 2009. Polipinos in the Mist.

Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: November 2008
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. Happy Fat Ass Day. Today we will celebrate eating way too much and planning to spend way too much tomorrow during Black Friday adventures. Yay! If you are my friends TJ Brooker and Halladay Celebration, you are working. Boo! Sunday, November 23, 2008. Go Kat, it's your birthday. Literally. It is my birthday. The big 31. I got home a little embarrassed that one class could bum me out so much. I went home to tell my husband all about it and this is what I found. He made me a ch...

Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: December 2008
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. The Ghost of New Year's Eve Past. Since we are just about to close the book on 2008, I found some treasures from New Year's Eve 2004. Before I get all ready to celebrate the future, it is important to remember the past. So my last entry in 2008 ends with a Polipino fortune cookie saying. Good friends are like bad rashes. They never really go away.(in bed). I'm TJ Brooker and Kat's boob, and I approve of drive-by photography. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Sure you might be thin...

Polipinos Love Pierogi and Rice: April 2009
http://polipinopower.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Mini marathon. Check! Wednesday, April 22, 2009. When I was in college, one of my favorite songs had the lyrics "I can still remember when 30 was old." In my mid-twenties, I embraced the thought of passing the big three-oh. I laughed at my petty peers who looked at aging like "the end.". The first thing to go was my blood pressure. At a dentist's appointment, I discovered I have high blood pressure. At 29, I was fine. Today, not fine. What changed? I can't stay up past midnight...
