Monday, March 24, 2008. 28 Days Later (the Zombie-Free Version). Squatchy is now beginning week five of his recovery and he's looking good. I fully expected him to be bouncing off the walls with pent-up energy, but he is acting just as calm as ever. This weekend was remarkably relaxing, and we had some free time this Saturday, so we decided to load the Squatch Monster into the car for a drive to the agricultural zone on nearby Sauvie Island to give him a chance to take in some familiar sights and smells.

I went back to work a few weeks ago thanks to our wonderfully generous neighbor, JoAnn, who's been helping to look after Squatchy while both Brad and I are at work during the day.
