Now this has long been waiting to be furnished - but with what? Just what do you use a landing for? Well in a dollshouse it's another room really.Another area to fill! I must admit though, to feeling quite confused as to what to put into this space and what it's real use would have been in a real house in the late Victorian/early Edwardian period.

Having shown you the bed linen it reminded me that I haven't really talked about the lady's bedroom. This room is on the right hand side of the house, above the parlour and adjacent to the bathroom with a door leading into that. The additional door is the one at the back of the room. I've left it ajar and fixed a light behind it so that it looks like it's leading somewhere.

Lighting in the hallway and the dining room. Here's a close up of the new lamp. I made it out of different parts such as beads/pearls, transparent plastic lit, cheap dolls house lamp (the part stuck to the ceiling) and some metal wire etc. View of the hall with the new lamp. Hanging lamp with beaded shade. By the way, and will do well in an Art Deco styled home too. Bricks under the bay windows. Painted cardboard (0,75mm) is glued to the "wood pieces" (whatever it's called? Views of some of the rooms.

Barnacle cottage as had the bedroom wall paper changed and there is some lovely fresh vex in the kitchen ready for dinner tea and biscuits are on the coffee table ready for a visiter. She is a teacher at a school in a nearby village and is single she grew up in the bay but her mum and dad moved away about 8 years ago when. Was at university she is single and lives alone but there is someone who she quite likes but more about him another day. Is a very girly girl and loves pretty things she prefers older things to very modern style and loves vintage clothing especially from the 5os. And meeting all the residents.
