Yesterday was my rest day! I am running 2 miles tonight so I won't be tired for the 5k on Saturday morning. Okay, that's not really a guarantee I won't be tired on Saturday morning because it is early but I am glad it is. This way it won't be as hot. I decided that as long as I don't come in dead last I will be okay. However I know a nay sayer that says I am setting myself up for dissapointment in case I don't do as good as I would like. Well I should have waited until the sun went down. June 24, 2010 at 11:40 PM. Yeah, Ive had that same panic about my Labor Day Half Marathon. Not sure how hot it will be at 7:00 AM. The good news is your upcoming race is 3 miles.and your half marathon should be much cooler than todays run. With the 5k tell yourself youre going to run until you absolutely cant anymore. The reason I could afford to move was because I've started a new job doing. To the average Joe this probably doesn't sound like all that exciting of a career.
