http://puttinupwiththerain.blogspot.com/2011/07/on-getting-grip.html
Racing for the rainbow. Monday, July 11, 2011. On getting a grip. Relatively speaking of course.) I had a teeny tiny 24 inch waist, teeny tiny boobies (boo), and sported nicely curved hips. Since that time I have gained about forty pounds (as of last year it was almost 60 gained, so yay me for dropping that number! OK, so now what? After wrestling with my own brain for two freakin weeks I came to the conclusion that:. 2 I'm proud of the progress that I've made and my midsection is really not too shabby.

Racing for the rainbow...: April 2011
http://puttinupwiththerain.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Racing for the rainbow. Thursday, April 28, 2011. That was the sound my dreams made, just for a brief moment, yesterday. *squish*. What do you mean? Turns out he knows someone that has run a marathon. Well he knows a few, but this particular individual really did a number on himself during the marathon and somehow caused himself to become diabetic. Has anyone else heard of anything like this happening before? I never have, so any input is welcome! Wednesday, April 27, 2011. I can't wait to try out some o...

Racing for the rainbow. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Enriching my life, and maybe yours in the process! You can browse our catalog just as though you were receiving a paper copy or you can search for specific items. The way I see it, if you are going to buy makeup anyway (and let's be honest, you will), might as well support the small business dreams of one family rather than stuffing the already bloated wallets of the bigwigs.right? This is an amazing and easy opportunity to raise money! On a running re...

Racing for the rainbow...: February 2011
http://puttinupwiththerain.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Racing for the rainbow. Thursday, February 10, 2011. Things that make you feel good- the little things. After weeks of minimal change on the scale and feeling a little bit down on myself because of my lack of mileage, I had two feel-good moments within the past 24 or so hours. This morning I realized that it just hung there. Not tight at all. You couldn't see any pudge (which is still there by the way, just smaller I guess). Whaaaaat? Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Well, I do what I can. I'm done. I'm do...

Racing for the rainbow...: Hurricane Christmas
http://puttinupwiththerain.blogspot.com/2011/12/hurricane-christmas.html
Racing for the rainbow. Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Last night, we had the pleasure of touring one of our local fire stations with my son's Cub Scout den. Very cute, the boys had a lot of fun counting hoses and checking out the "secret compartments" that the fire trucks and engines house. The moms had fun googling at the cute fire man that demonstrated his fire suit for us. It was pretty win/win. I'll tackle that disaster in 2012. =o). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I just thought I'd say a quick hello and share some pics with you from our celebration. The tree at my in-laws' house. I told you it was ridiculous. There was also a secondary pile for the people that weren't spending Christmas morning with us. My dearies playing with their new scooters on the day after Christmas. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Holy crap, it's Thursday! I hope everyone has ...

Im ready to move forward and get back on track. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Please contact me at brownjid(at)gmail (dot)com. March for Bab...

Racing for the rainbow...: May 2011
http://puttinupwiththerain.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Racing for the rainbow. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. After Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF. It's Wednesday, MAY 25th. I live in California. I'm looking out my back sliding door right now and see what? I am blown away sometimes that I am a parent. You would think after seven plus years of being the designated Mother Hen I would be used to it, but no. I still stop in my tracks sometimes with the realization, "Mom. That's me! Off to yoga it up.this weather sure is dreary. Are we sure it's really May? Today ...
