One street south of us.broken trees.one was on her car I think.but the bulk of it landed just behind her car.and only the smaller branches landed on her vehicle.not ONE scratch.she was giving glory to God for this. One of many trees uprooted on Stovall Rd., just across Wall Triana from us. Saturday, July 10, 2010. A month in review. I know.I have fallen down on the blogging lately, so let me see if I can bring you up to date on our last month or so. 1 As of yesterday, Abigail was released from the care of the orthopaedic doctor. He feels her foot has healed sufficiently. She is to hang onto her brace and use it as needed (when doing LOTS of activity). 8 Abigail went to VBS at Wall Highway and had a great time. She was also able to visit with Granny and Granddaddy and her Georgia cousins.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. I finally did a camera dump so I have LOTS of photos on the computer :) And, I am ready to create blog updates. Why is is that I get lazy and just fail to hook the camera to the computer to show you what's going on in our lives? Well, here is one update.Abigail got NEW glasses. Sunday, January 4, 2009. A Tale of Desperaux. I can't help but write a small post regarding the book, A Tale of Desperaux. I can not express enough how this little children's book weaves a tale of hope, light, darkness and reconciliation. There of course is no comparison to the current movie adaptation. Why can't the movies ever get it right? I certainly do not want to give away the plot of the book, but the narrator makes a particular point at the beginning of this tale that I think is important.

I've been reading about Paul's conversion in Acts 9 and Paul's words in 1 Timothy say that God set him apart before he was born to be an instrument of God's grace, to show Jesus' perfect patience (the whole of His long-suffering).
