Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Yarn Along washcloths at work and a wedding. This past weekend my two daughters and I attended a wedding of my oldest daughter's very first friend she made when she changed high schools as a sophomore, 10 years ago. Okay, now down to business! I'm knitting at work (at lunch), in the car, at home, morning and evening. They are coming along nicely. I even have two volunteers to help me! Not spending a lot of time reading these days a page or two at night, but since the forecast...

Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Yarn Along - I'm Back. Being absent for 5 months, not a good thing when my goal last year was to be a more consistent blogger. Well, I'm back. I'll start with a quick update of our twin granddaughters. They are just as healthy and happy as can be! Willa left, Anna right) and we are truly blessed. Dishcloths. Recently I spent the weekend with my high school girlfriends and I gifted our hostess a bundle that included a woven. While watching Outlander, I noticed this shawl. Hi and ...

Life as Elizabeth B.: September 2014

Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Yarn Along with another baby hat and an apron. Still plugging away on the Forever Baby Blanket - this is going to be a familiar statement for weeks to come I'm sure! Although cute, I struggled with the lighter weight yarn and small needles and didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped so I rewound the yarn and decided I'd revisit it another time. So, I picked up my favorite yarn, Cascade 220 Super Wash in Ivory, and cast on the Tegan Baby Hat. I've been reading God at the Kitc...

Life as Elizabeth B.: February 2015
http://lifeaselizabethb.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Yarn Along with Anna and Willa. This is a picture of them in their "going home" outfits. I'm so honored that their mom and dad chose outfits that I purchased AND wearing hats I knit for them. These are newborn sizes, so you can see how tiny they are at the moment. Since I've been so pre-occupied with many other things, I neglected to note what yarn I used. I do know that I used the Tegan Hat w/knot. Thanks for stopping by! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Deb on the Run. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Who Is This Person? This past Sat. morning myself, two of my children, and another gentleman were joined into Holy Orthodox church. This has been a 6 year journey for me and I feel I have come home. Then we knelt before the Gospel and Cross while Fr. said a prayer. I thought Timothy’s kneel was pretty cute. 8220;O Lord our God, who remitted the sins of Peter and the harlot through their tears and justified the publican who acknowledge his transgressions&...

Deb on the Run. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Who Is This Person? Forefeast of the Nativity. I thought this was lovely. An animated Christmas Story told with icons and the Advent Troparion (hymn) sung by Fr. Apostolos Hill. Definitely worth a look. 8220;Today the Virgin cometh unto the cave. To give birth to the Word who was born before all ages. Begotten in a manner that defies description. Rejoice therefore O universe if thou should hear and glorify. With the angels and shepherds. Deb on the Run. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Who Is This Person? Too much computer time? 8220;As she stared at the restless pixels on her screen, her impatience grew. This agitation was familiar, a paradoxical feeling that grew up inside her when she was spending too much time online, as though some force was at once goading her and holding her back.”. A Tale for the Time Being pg. 227. I think I need to add this sign back onto my computer:. For the New Year. A Tale for the Time Being. Jan 09, 2014.
