Maybe the whimsy made me look, but it is Stingle’s ability to tell a story through the sculptural details that held my interest. A graduate of Patrick Henry High School and a Roanoke native, I began my pottery career five years ago. I began with pinch pots and hand built work graduating to wheel thrown stoneware. My pottery studio, affectionately referred to as The Chamber , is located in a basement in Roanoke, VA. I seek to create functional yet aesthetically pleasing stoneware.
