Monday, January 19, 2015. All You Can Eat Sushi. I'm really going to miss our favorite all-you-can-eat sushi place here in Canada, Masa. We have been there at least a dozen times over the past year. They seat you with a menu and a pencil, so you can select all the goodies you want. After handing over the menu, we wait for our parade of food to begin. First up is always the seaweed salad. It's not a huge portion, but of course you can always order more. Now for the rolls! We will really miss this place!

28: Misogyny and Me: Television for the Masses! Catching up on my television and it's got me feeling like I should stop catching up on the television I used to watch and just continue watching the Wire instead. It's the only show I'm watching right now that isn't disapointing. It's just all the gosh-darn misogyny. Jane Krakowski is the best actor/actress on 30 Rock. And yet Kenneth is getting more and more screen time . Over half what he says is woman-bashing, but it's. He's from small-town Georgia!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Poutine making culinary inroads in U.S.: Toronto Star. From today's Toronto Star:. Unless it's maple syrup, it's unlikely many Americans could identify an example of truly Canadian cuisine. Poutine – a mixture of French fries, cheese curds and hot gravy – is making it onto menus alongside typical American fare like cheeseburgers and chili dogs. A transpl...
