Mr F's Bangalore Blog. There was an error in this gadget. Monday, 9 April 2012. A visit to a bird reserve. Today we visited a beautiful bird reserve near Mysore. We went on a boat around a lake where there were lots of different types of birds, such as pelicans, ibis, storks, egrets, herons, spoonbills and cormorants. There was also a colony of giant fruit bats hanging upside down in the trees. It disappeared under the frothing water. Posted by The Prince of Wales First School. Monday, April 09, 2012.

Mr F's Bangalore Blog. There was an error in this gadget. Sunday, 8 April 2012. We went on a cycle ride this morning. We visited a vegetable market where there was a busy Hindu mandir (temple). On our ride we also saw some "snake stones" which are ancient religious symbols which are even older than Hinduism. Some children were playing cricket in front of them!
