Thursday, February 22, 2007. Winter Park was okay, we were hurting for snow here at Breck, and Winter Park was no different. One side of Winter Park, Mary Jane, is known for its bump runs. They don't fool around with their bumps, as you can see in this picture of Missy next to a warning sign:. I'm glad I went, but don't think I'll be back. There were a lot of bump runs and lots of flat areas I found myself skating in. We did go to a pretty cool dive bar afterwards for a beer and nachos. The Honda Ski Tour.

Monday, October 30, 2006. I'm Not Lost, I'm Exploring! I got up today ready for a hike. I spent Sunday inside thinking I was getting sick and missed out on an absolutely beautiful day. Sunday evening I decided I was going to hike Royal Mountain near Frisco. After getting back, I packed up my new backpack that I got from SteepandCheap.com. Tuesday, March 06, 2007. New Expert Terrain At Breckenridge. On Sunday, I was at work on the mountain when one of the ski instructors came into the office and announced that patrol was going to open Snow White. We've been waiting all season for this, 150 acres of expert terrain. I hadn't planned on riding Sunday, but Nick convinced me we should be among the first to sample the area.
