The City of Powell will be periodically offering American Red Cross Lifeguarding. This certification is necessary to be employed as a Lifeguard at the Powell Aquatic Center. If you are interested, please call to be added to an interest list. August 8th - 12th 8am-5pm. To Register for the next Lifeguarding course, contact us by email. CPR and First Aid. Become certified in CPR and/or First Aid. Cost is: $30 per certification. September 24th: CPR 10 am and First Aid 1 pm. Safety Training for Swim Coaches.

Is there always lap lanes available to the public? Yes, there is at least 2 lanes available to the public during scheduled swim practices. The only time there is not lanes available is when there is a swim meet. Does the Powell Aquatic Center have a Facebook page? For latest information, ask questions or share your experiences. When is open swimming? Open swim is any time the facility is open. To the public (M-F 5:30am-8pm, Sat and Sun. 12-5) We are closed to the public. For swim meets, check or home page.
