Monday, March 19, 2012. Welcome race fans to the inaugural DOTTIE500. This is a short track race just a few couple feet around the kitchen isle. The race cars aren't powered by horses under the hood but by the fiery little spirit of the big sister. At four years old this motor is FAST! Friday, May 25, 2012. Where did that year go? Our sweet little Dottie turned ONE on Tuesday, May 22nd. It is so funny to me how your life just keeps right on going and you look back on the year and think "what did we do before you were a part of our lives? I remember being a little sad right before she was born because it would no longer be just the three of us, and now, I can't imagine it any other way but the four of us. Mary Margo "helping" as usual. Is this how you do it? Now this cake is more my size.

Monday, June 25, 2012. What to do with Dottie? Oh Dottie, she is going to be a fun one. She is a MESS! Here is just a small list of what we have found in her mouth. Shoes and more shoes. Leaves and more leaves. The list makes it look like I never clean my house. But I do! SHE IS A MESS! Here are just a few pics of this little devil in disguise. She gets buckled in EVERYTIME now. She even thought my pants would be a good chew toy. FLOWER IN THE MOUTH. SWEETGUM BALL IN MOUTH. This is her sizing it up.

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. The girls were good this year! Mary Margo asked for a baby carrier. Check! Dottie asked for Bracelets. Check! Mary Margo had to test them out before she would let her little sister have them. Dottie says - Christmas is GREAT! Mary Margo asked for a sparkly microphone. Check! Dottie thinks she will like it too. Dottie quickly spotted the left over oreo by the fireplace. She did NOT want to share her findings with her sister. But she changed her mind. Airport Security - If you have ever flown with a child, you know that they ask them simple questions at the check point. On our first trip, I prepped Mary Margo for this and she did great. This time I didn't and it went something like this. Hi, is your name Mary? Eyes cut in that oh so sassy way. "I'm Mary MARGO". Is that our Plane?
