Skyfield miniature horses are gentle, loving, and ideally suited for children first learning to ride and care for horses. Miniatures are true horses but require a good deal less food and space than their full-sized cousins. An acre per miniature horse is sufficient for grazing. A bale of hay lasts up to a month.
