The PowerCheck Electrical Safety Assessment. A comprehensive 80-point electrical safety check of the electrical system, conducted in your home. From incoming service conductors thru to receptacles. A risk assessment, describing the safety of your home for insurance purposes. Homes are rated extreme, high, medium. A list of Corrective Actions , to bring home to medium and low risk rating. Once the corrective actions have been completed, the home is automatically re-rated at the respective lower risk rating.

Knob and Tube Wiring. What to do if you cannot afford to pay for a Total House re-wire? While I realize that, the cost of re-wiring a house, is a very big ticket item, for most people. Especially maybe a young family, who have scraped everything together, just to get in to a house.
