Can Excel pivot tables get any better? Precalculated fields-no need to calculate columns on the edge of the pivottable. Preformatted fields-no need to format as percentages or currency everytime you start a pivot table. Complex calculated fields-such as percentage of total company, variances ready to go. They look like excel formulas, mostly with the same formulas and syntax but they can do so much more. Data from Diverse sources all combined-a more sophisticated approach to the vlookup.
