Bryan about to have ACL surgery. The nice surgeon gave Dallas a hat ;). The ice machine wrapped around his leg and machine that bent Bryan's leg to keep the tissue from stiffening. In with Bryan as the Interim Youth Pastor at our church. We LOVE the students and s. Eeing them grow in their Faith and walk with Christ, but it's been a stretch time-wise as Bryan is also leading Christian Challenge and doing full-time school to finish up his Master of Divinity. The babies are changing so fast! He giggles and giggles!

Monday, December 19, 2011. I've had NO time to update this, but Harrison is sleeping right now so I'm going to try and quickly upload a few pictures of our sweet little guy. So far, he's doing really well! He will be four weeks old this Friday! We can't believe it! Right now we;re working on some preliminary sleep training and establishing a routine through a book that was recommended to us called Baby Wise. According to this book, little man can be sleeping through the night at six weeks!

Tuesday, July 12, 2011. We had our 20 week ultrasound on Sunday! Because we weren't finding out the gender the ultrasound tech made us "name" the baby so she wouldn't accidentally slip with a "he" or "she". So we came up with the ultimate "Sh-im" name: Pat. Pat is 14oz, has a healthy spine, a healthy heart and is apparently a "flasher" according to the ultrasound tech. In three weeks we'll know if the baby is a Patrick or Patricia, but until then we'll enjoy our time with Baby Pat!

I was so nauseated during my entire pregnancy that even the sight of my blog brought back literal "sick" feelings and made me completely unmotivated to update it. BUT- now we're parents and we want to share all the joys and excitements of having our new baby boy, so Brad helped me give the blog a face lift (so I don't get sick when I see it) and now we're ready to become consistent bloggers once again.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. So the last 5 weeks have been pretty miserable. I throw up all the time. Like I'm talking 5-10 times A DAY! My face is huge, the back of my thighs have dimples and I am so HOT! This humidity is something else! After this post I'm headed down to the pool to go swim with the neighborhood kids and hope that I don't get a cramp from the box of bread sticks I just ate.man. The most important part- the baby is healthy! The doctor said it looks like 'an absolute wonderful baby'!

Sunday, July 3, 2011. New Body, New Hair, New Post. On Wednesday, I will be 20 weeks! And I feel so HUGE! But we are so blessed to have made it this far! Here's what's been happening:. Up until about 18 weeks, I will still throwing up about 5 times a day! I think my co-workers appreciate it, too, since they would have to sit near the vomit filled trash can. I cut my hair! Brad really wanted me to grow it out but this is not the time in my life to feel even more frumpy than I have to. So off it went!
