EGYPT and ISRAEL 2009. Saturday, November 28, 2009. Today our group split - 12 went back to Cairo to fly home and 8 went on to Taba (on Egypt/Israel border). It was hard saying goodbye to people that are like a family! The bus seemed unusually quiet with more than half the group gone. This was an exciting drive since we basically went the route the Israelites took with Moses toward the Promise Land. Our new tour guide, Andre, speaks Arabic, Hebrew, French and English! He's incredibly intelligent and also a Palestinian Christian! Great combination of course. We took a quick dip in the Dead Sea - the lowest point on Earth!
