Archive for September, 2012. Full swing in a depression. Right, going to call the doctor tomorrow. Maybe getting medicated will help with some of my physiological problems. Doubt it, but it might. Trigger warnings and PPD. Not Safe For Work warnings are also a good thing. They let people know that subjects that are inappropriate in a business setting are being brought up. Typically, a NSFW tag is used when the subject involves nudity or images/text of a sexual nature. TW: DESCRIPTION OF INFANTICIDE!

Life’s not fair. There is something supremely tragic about a woman dying while fighting to live, when there are so many who wish to die but their bodies won’t let them. One of my friends, a brilliant, strong, loving woman, a mother of four and wife to her true love, is dead. She was fighting lymphoma, and was doing well. Yesterday, she came home, told her husband she was going to take a nap, and dropped dead. Life may not be fair, but it shouldn’t be as cruel as this. Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 0 ).

Postpartum depression, part one. Hours passed before I actually went to the NICU. I went through the motions, doing what they expect repeat moms to do. I did that for months. Guilt, the ultimate high! Feeling guilty because you didn’t do xyz? Do xyz, then feel guilty that you only did them out of guilt! And now, I feel guilty because I’m having to fight to keep this post on one topic. Oh, the irony. Never had it like this before. Full swing in a depression. Blog at WordPress.com.

Never had it like this before. I’m too tired. I can’t accomplish more than basic tasks, and even those take me hours to do. I can’t get dressed, I can’t do laundry, I can’t clean up after the kids. I can’t even focus enough to read, at least not until the wee hours of the morning. I can’t fall asleep, yet I can’t stay awake. So my plans for the next day were officially shot to death since I needed the car to get shit done. That was, looking back at it, the day it started. Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 0 ).
