EA Hilda Gomez and Karen have worked together to create an environment in which families feel connected and comfortable at school. Sunday, November 2, 2008. King is currently applying to become an International Baccalaureate. School. The ESL program is an important part of this process and teachers Meghan Kahn and Paul Gunther are working hard to get our students ready for world citizenship. Many of the English Language Learners at Beach are students in the Spanish Immersion program. Beach has a 1/2 time ESL teacher, Marika Beck. Marika brings her diverse personal and professional background to her work at Beach. When she is not working with our ELL learners, she is busy teaching 8th grade Social Studies.
