I would say its been a fairly uneventful few weeks. I'm suffering a little Twilight burn-out.I'm sure I'm shocking everyone by having a non-Twilight blog post. ;) So when all else fails and I don't have a blog-able topic, its time for some bullet points. We also had a little furnace issue n Thanksgiving. leaving us with no heat. Luckily, we got it all fixed up on Friday with just the replacement of a small part. Today, my mom would have turned 61. How I Spent My Summer Vacation. A photo essay by laura. I corrupted my dad and Debbie (and four other unphotographed people) to the ways of Wii. These former league bowlers were completely consumed with Wii Bowling. Debbie played almost every day of vacation. And every time I tried to play by myself, my dad would chime in to "set me up", so he could play, too. I think I'm going to get them a Wii for Christmas. I watched a couple of sunsets like this one. Little bits of happy. Just a quick post with some things that are making me smile lately. This is my favorite perfume, well, at least for the past year. Its DKNY Be Delicious. The regular bottle comes in the shape of an apple. I was in. Last night looking for the body lotion, but found this little rollerball beauty instead. I loved the idea of being able to carry it with me in my purse without having to carry around the bottle itself, even if I had to pay $38 for the convenience. Okay, so we are here.

This is the newest addition to our family. I originally did not plan on getting another dog this soon (today is exactly one month since we had to put Tea to sleep). The promised update took a little longer to get to than I had originally planned. But hey, that's what happens when life gets in the way. The six month blogging absence wasn't intentional, either.I actually did have things happen that were blog-worthy, but never got around to the actual blog entries. Obviously. The spring saw me going away for a scrapbooking retreat in Princeton, which was good, because at least I had scrapping material from the reunion! But its all for a greater good. This is just funny!
