Practical Katie: The Bare Essentials
http://practicalkatie.blogspot.com/2011/10/bare-essentials.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. This is my first post for Bathroom Blogfest 2011. It's kind of weird to admit that I've been taking pictures of bathrooms all year with this in mind. Let's start at the beginning with toilet paper. Is it really too much to ask to have a roll of toilet paper that actually rolls? A roll of toilet paper that doesn't force me to claw like a hamster to pull out a thin, square of paper? Talk about customer service. That doesnt look like a hand drier. Just sayin. Practical Katie: A Few Observations on Books
http://practicalkatie.blogspot.com/2011/10/few-observations-on-books.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. A Few Observations on Books. Another fall, another group of freshman. Here are a few comments about books from the beginning of fall semester. Freshman are clueless as to how to buy their books. It makes sense. They never had to buy their books in high school. Though you would think an RA or someone would tell them about buying books. (This observation comes from seeing dozens of hysterical comments in the freshman facebook page.). Are tour guides telling them we have textbooks?

Welcome to Bathroom Blogfest (page 4). Monday, October 15, 2007. Posts from Practical Katie. My Greatest Accomplishment Last Year. Just say NO to hand dryers. When it comes to women's bathrooms, I do know more than my boss, who is a man. Interestingly I rarely disagree with him about facilities - because he's usually right and I'm usually wrong. But when it comes to women's bathrooms - I am the expert. I think a man designed this. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Please visit these blogs:.

Checking out and checking in. Toilets on the Lawn. October 29, 2010. Countdown by Deborah Wiles. I’ve been stuck in the 60s for months now. It all began with the release of Deborah Wiles’ Countdown. The 1st book in her highly anticipated Sixties Trilogy. My strongest recollections of the 60s begin as a 10 year-old around 1964 so I was enchanted to follow Franny’s story as a 11 year-old in 1962. The documentary novel brought back so many memories and immediately I had to have more. Yes Was I fearful?

Found in Translation – Transcultural comments and marketing. Newer posts →. Thanks, I’ve ALWAYS got my own. April 17, 2008. How many times have we heard this before on the check out line of the grocery shopping? I have to say that I’ve heard it countless times for about 8 years now since I’ve been in the US. Before that, I did not. Again, a bit of both. Are our markets cheap for not offering us grocery bags? Probably yes. Are we miserable because of that? No Do they offer it these days? March 31, 2008.
