Add to your recipes. 2 (3) sprigs fresh mint, leaves removed. 2 dashes Angostura bitters. 1 small sprig fresh mint for garnish. Place mint leaves in bottom of tall Collins or highball glass; add brandy. Gently bruise mint with a muddle or bar spoon to release the oils into the brandy. Add to your recipes. 12 C) tomatoes, coarsely chopped. Chopped fresh herbs (basil, mint, marjoram, oregano, rosemary). Heat oil in large nonreactive Dutch oven or pot over medium-low heat until warm. Add garlic and crushed red pepper; cook 1-2 minutes or until softened and fragrant but not browned, stirring constantly. Add to your recipes. 1 1 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 2 teaspoon baking soda. 1 4 cup granulated sugar. 1 2 cup half-and-half. 1 2 cup milk. 1 4 cup buttermilk. 1 4 teaspoon vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Lightly beat the egg in another medium bowl and combine with sugar, butter, and shortening, mixing well until smooth. Add the half and half, milk, buttermilk and vanilla and mix well. Rub a light coating of vegetable oil on a waffle iron, and preheat it.
