So my 27 year old, mother of two and 18 weeks pregnant cousin not only ran the 26.2 mile long Boston Marathon earlier today but she did it with a time of 4 hours, 4 minutes and 42 seconds, which means she averaged 9 minutes and 20 seconds. In the freezing rain. And she’s 18 weeks pregnant! My record time ever for running a mile was in the sixth grade with a time of 9 minutes and 28 seconds.

I really appreciate the feedback as it helped to get different perspectives as well as validated my feelings that what is going on is not normal. I couldn’t focus my thoughts enough to write all that went down regarding the mark but I have now even though it seems disappointingly irrelevant at this point. I explained that I had discovered a mark on his bottom. It freaked me out. I called my mommy.
