What are the various memorial services and events taking place to remember Gretchen? Again, thanks everyone. Posted by Megan @ 5:35 PM. Posted by Megan @ 5:26 PM.

Gretchen's Page: July 2007

Sunday, July 22, 2007. I just emailed Misha, and I remembered a dream that I had a couple of months ago. I thought I would post it here. It would have been a massive pile.) She tossed her purple LL Bean backpack on the seat next to mine and sat down. She opened a can of cherry Coke. You know, Gretchen, our class isn't doing so well," I said to her. She nodded, and thought about this for a couple of minutes. We watched people walk up and down. Then, she looked at me, and said "Let's trade shoes.". At time...

Sunday, September 24, 2006. Until I wrote the below list, I'd totally forgotten about playing "Lewis and Clark.". I think that the game was some kind of reaction to growing up in suburbia, where there was no new ground to discover. We used to go to Valley Forge park and try to get lost. It's pretty impossible. You head into the woodyiest thicket you can find. The overgrowth gets thicker, you head in that direction. You definitely try to head *away* from the sound of cars. Posted by Christine @ 11:34 PM.

Friday, May 04, 2007. Sandra, the fourth member of the unauthorized midnight roadtrip to New York, just emailed me. She heard about Gretchen recently. She sent along the following memories, and photographs. Gretchen and her delight at combining Dr Pepper and Pixie Stix. She got carried away once and the fizz went up her nose causing her to spit it out and make this horrible snarfing noise. I think she laughed for about 15 minutes after that. Posted by Megan @ 2:20 AM. Its been a while.

Gretchen's Page: April 2007
http://gretchenspage.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2007. We don't get answers, do we? I've been thinking about Gretchen again. I'll turn 29 on Wednesday. She won't, ever, turn 29. I'm running over the same questions, again and again, wondering how it is that things turned out the way that they did. I'm beginning to realize that this is something that I'll never get to understand. You should have been here for Langdon's wedding. You should have been here to see Christine become a PhD. You should have been here to turn 30 with us.

Gretchen's Page: February 2007

Friday, February 02, 2007. I still can see the bathroom the first time she tried and it was worse than any horror movie I've ever seen. I didn't think one person had that much blood in their body. I didn't want my parents to have to come home and see the bathroom after taking her to the ER so I remember cleaning it all up. Are you happy now Gretchen? Was there anything you could have done? If you were on your meds would you still be here today? Do you realize the pain you have caused with this?
